Eva Van Eeghen

Eva Van Eeghen M.A. (Couns) BACP (Accred.)

I offer a confidential space where we can think about and discuss your feelings, thoughts, relationships, and events in your life.

Things that happen to us in our lives sometimes have unexpected impacts, and the attendant thoughts and feelings can be overwhelming. We can then become depressed or anxious, or just feel generally unhappy. Being offered a safe space to talk through things with a skilled listener can have far-reaching beneficial effects.

Facilitating you to come to a deeper understanding of yourself and others, or to find meaning in your life, are just some of the benefits of the Person-Centred therapy I offer. I see therapy as a collaborative exploration; a process whereby we work together towards gaining insight and growth.

I hold a Master in Counselling degree from the University of East Anglia (UEA) which followed on from the Post-Graduate Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling from the UEA.

These trainings are accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy ( BACP), of which I am a Registered Member.

I have taught as Assistant Tutor on the Post-Graduate Certificate in Counselling course at the UEA.

I teach on the Introduction to Counselling Skills course at the Norwich Centre.

I am the Personal Development facilitator on the Diploma in Counselling course at the Norwich Centre.

I also work as a volunteer counsellor within a charitable organisation in Norwich.

If you come to see me in Diss (or Norwich) all sessions last one hour and cost £45.
