Traditional Chinese arts practised for health and well being. These slow and gentle forms of movement can help us to slow down our busy minds and become calmer and quieter inside. Having a way of calming down is a good part of anyone's stress management routine. Meditative, flowing movement is only one aspect of the practice. The Harvard Medical School has conducted research to show that Tai Chi can benefit, a range of health conditions and provide a valuable form of healthy exercise for older people.
The class meets on Tuesday evening at 7pm to 8pm and costs £5. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and have a warmer jacket with you in case we go out in the garden!
